Call Scheduling

Learn how to configure calling times and automated redial attempts for your campaigns. In this video, you'll learn how to:

Calling Windows#

Default Settings:
Standard calling hours: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Platform automatically detects time zones based on phone number area codes
Ensures calls only happen during appropriate hours in the recipient's local time zone
Custom Windows:
Set multiple calling windows per day (e.g., 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
Avoid calling during specific times (like midday)

Advanced Features#

Flexible Rescheduling:
Allows AI agent to schedule callback at caller's requested time
Example: Caller says "Call me back tomorrow at 2:00 PM" - system automatically schedules it
Double Call (Recommended):
Calls the contact twice in a row on first attempt only
Dramatically improves connection rates
People are more likely to answer when they receive two consecutive calls from an unknown number
Redial on No Response:
Set up multiple automated redial attempts
Customize timing between attempts (minutes, hours, or days)
Each redial is scheduled after the most recent call attempt
Example sequence: Initial double call → 30 min later → 30 min later → 1 hour later → 1 day later
Smart Scheduling:
If a redial attempt falls outside calling windows, it's automatically held in queue
Call will be made at the next available time within your calling windows
Example: If 30-minute redial would occur at 12:00 PM (outside windows), it reschedules to 4:00 PM
These features optimize connection rates while respecting calling time preferences and regulations.
