SMS Integration

Learn how to add SMS messaging capabilities to your AI agent during calls. In this video, you'll learn how to:

Adding SMS Tool

Access the Details section in the campaign panel

Click "Add Tool" to create SMS integration

Name your SMS tool (e.g., "Outbound SMS")

Option 1: Use Your Own Twilio Account

Add your Twilio SID and Auth Token

Send SMS messages from the same phone number used for calls

Requires setting up 10DLC registration (a multi-step process)

Option 2: Use Atlas as Provider

SMS messages send from Atlas phone numbers

Faster setup with no registration required

Different phone number than your calling number

Trigger and Action:

Trigger: Caller agrees to receive a text message

Action: AI dynamically sends relevant content based on the conversation

Message content is determined by what the caller requested during the call

Click "Save" to activate SMS capabilities for your AI agent.
