FAQ

Can I send more than one message per contact in a session?
Yes. The 15-minute spacing rule applies to new contacts only. Within an active conversation, you can send multiple messages in sequence.

What happens if my message gets blocked?
Atlas Blue automatically re-queues it for the next available send window. You don't need to do anything.

Can I include a link in a follow-up if they haven't replied?
No. First-message content restrictions stay in place until the contact replies. Keep follow-ups conversational until you get that first response.

Why are these limits necessary?
Atlas Blue runs on a physical iPhone connected directly to Apple's iMessage network. That's what gives you blue bubbles, 92% open rates, and 43% reply rates instead of the ~5% you get from SMS. These guardrails keep your number in good standing so your AI clone keeps running 24/7.

Do these limits apply to SMS fallback and RCS?
The same sending cadence applies across all channels. Content filtering is enforced by iMessage specifically, but following these rules across all channels is best practice.

How long does it take for a new phone number to go live?
Provisioning typically takes up to 24 hours after purchase. You'll receive an email when your number is ready — then return to the Atlas Blue Configuration panel] to link it.

Can I test my agent before going live?
Yes. Use the Test Messaging button on the campaign detail page to chat with your agent through a simulated iPhone — no phone number or real messages required. See Conversations & Testing.
