  1. Atlas Blue Campaigns

Phone Number Setup

Every Atlas Blue Campaign requires a dedicated phone number. You can manage phone number linking from two places:
During campaign creation — Step 6 of the creation wizard.
After creation — From the Messages tab of the campaign's detail page, by clicking the gear (⚙️) icon next to Atlas Blue Sessions.
Both surfaces open the same Atlas Blue Configuration panel.

Linking a Phone Number#

If your account has available phone numbers (numbers not already assigned to another campaign), they appear in the Available Phone Numbers list. Select the number you want to use to link it to the campaign.

Unlinking a Phone Number#

If your campaign already has a phone number linked, you can unlink it from the same configuration panel. Once unlinked, the number becomes available to assign to a different campaign, and the current campaign stops receiving messages until a new number is linked.

Getting a New Phone Number#

If no numbers are available, click Get Phone Number to purchase a new one. The purchase screen includes the following options.

Message Features#

Every phone number includes iMessage as the primary channel, with SMS as an automatic fallback for contacts who can't receive iMessages.
You can also enable Add Android Support (RCS). RCS (Rich Communication Services) is the modern messaging standard for Android devices. It works similarly to iMessage — supporting read receipts, typing indicators, high-quality media, and other rich features — but for Android users. Enabling this option extends your campaign's reach beyond Apple devices without sacrificing the quality of the messaging experience.

Phone Number Location (Optional)#

Specify a geographic preference by selecting a Region and entering a Zip Code. Useful if you want the campaign's number to appear local to a specific area.

Promotion Codes (Optional)#

Apply a promo code to the setup fee or the recurring charge before completing the purchase.

Billing Frequency#

Choose whether you'd like to be billed monthly, quarterly, or yearly.

⏱ Activation Timeline#

After a phone number is purchased, it is not immediately active. Provisioning typically takes up to 24 hours.
You'll receive an email notification once the number is ready. When you receive that email, return to the Atlas Blue Configuration panel in your campaign and link the newly provisioned number to activate the campaign.
